Absolutely stunning shot from David Newby of our new White Denim Overalls, worn by Hannah Peschanel in the heat of Pam Springs California. Appeared in the Guardian Fashion story today. Styled by Melanie Wilkinson.
Absolutely buzzing to see us headline Karen Dacre’s piece tonight in the Evening Standard on the heat around the Boiler.
And yes I could run and run with MC’s and Boiler Room gags. But I won’t.
Only a few weeks ago an opportunity presented itself to re-site our Soho flagship right in the heart of Soho – really very close to our first pop-up on Dean Street. In a former bar. It was too good to miss.
So as of this Sunday evening, our Newburgh Street flagship closes its doors and we begin the steady march down the road to our brand new home.
We open at 21 Brewer Street (W1F 0RL) on Sept 21 (the irony), with the launch of Collection 3. And for those who want a sneak preview of both the store and the new collection, come down to our drinks in-store on the evening of Sept 20. We will be hosting a few of our dearest friends and supporters.
To mark the move, our friend Mr Lee has designed some graphics for an imaginary Mr Lee Removals Company. If only they could actually move us? We like the graphics so much, we’ve made some limited edition tees. They launch alongside the store.
It’s the start of another chapter in our journal. We worked hard.
As our polycotton workpants do good business in Knightsbridge for our new friends at Harvey Nichols, it is heart-warming to see the humble workpant get a moment in the spotlight in The Jackal – the online magazine for smart & stylish folks.
A big day for us… Today, we are due to launch in the menswear department of Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge, as reported in Fashion United this morning.
To be stocked in a signature luxury retailer is a coup.
Great to see our Robert Alonzi collaboration as the first part of our ‘Canvas’ art programme covered by the Hype Kings.
Private view tonight. Open to the public tomorrow at our Soho flagship.
As the start of our ‘Canvas’ programme of artist collaborations, we are immensely proud to be launching the debut UK show from celebrated Belgian artist Robert Alonzi this coming Thursday in our Soho flagship.
Alongside presenting 16 of his paintings & sculptures, Robert has been using some our Overalls & Coach Jackets as a canvas for his practise. The Jackets will be on sale during the show. Highly collectible and surprisingly wearable items.
Private View on June 28 from 1900. DM us to get on the guest-list.
Open to the public during store hours from June 29 thru July 22.
Delighted to have our colour palette celebrated by Clothes Make A Man.
On June 29 our Soho flagship opens its doors to the public as both host and gallery to an extraordinary Belgian painter and sculptor Robert Alonzi. It will be his debut UK show, showcasing 15 works, plus some entirely unique pieces he has made specifically for us, using our clothing as a canvas.
Read the biography on his site and you will begin to understand why we have chosen to collaborate with Robert – he has exerted a very powerful work ethic from a young age to now and his work expresses a strong contemporary aesthetic.
Definitely worth dropping in.
The Private View of the show is June 28.
